Fresh Friends is Australia’s first real socialable activity website with a difference. It focuses wholly on making new friends and sharing common interests. Launched in 2009, Fresh Friends is a much needed socialable activity outlet for anyone wanting to get the ‘zing’ back into their social life.
As an online portal service, Fresh Friends allows members to communicate with others who have similar interests to either create their own activity or join in with others. Members build relationships and friendships first and foremost and there are no associated pressures as with online dating sites.
Members can easily create their own activity, at the time and place of their choice. Alternatively, they can join in the fun of other members’ activities. Fresh Friends has an amazing array of activities to choose from and our categories cover all aspects of social gatherings. It allows our members to now have the choice to be involved, make new friendships and activate their social lives.
Fresh Friends is not only for singles, but incorporates groups, families, couples, charities, businesses, clubs, organisations, restaurants, sporting associations, hobby fanatics and whoever else has something exciting and positive to offer our members.
Our goal is to help people meet around social activities which they can organise themselves or get involved in with other members’ activities. Our members are from all walks of life, all ages, married, single, couples, social groups, organisations, charities, families who are looking at socialising and getting that ‘zing’ back in their lives.

Bringing happiness and enjoyment to others is what Fresh Friends is all about as well as giving back to our community. Fresh Friends is as Australian as Skippy, Vegemite, Holden Cars and the Shrimp on the Barbie and as Australians are known to give the shirt off their back for a fellow Australian, Fresh Friends gives back too. A percentage of our profits is given back to the community from the local children’s club, to the fire fighters that save our land - or any organisations that Fresh Friends feel needs help and assistance. The more activities that go up on our site, the more we can help. So we ask all Australians to be part of Fresh Friends.

Fresh Friends is a much needed socialable activity portal that brings people together for any occasion.
Launched in November 2009, Fresh Friends has undertaken extensive market research and knows that our captive audience is in the age brackets of 30 to 55 years of age, but does not exclude members who are younger or older.

Our membership levels are growing weekly and our activity categories include all aspects of social interaction. They are categorised into sections as below.

• Private AUD $4 plus GST – duration period of 1 month
• Private AUD $10 plus GST – duration period of 3 months
• Associations AUD $20 plus GST – duration period of 1 month
• Associations AUD $100 plus GST – duration period of 6 months
• Charities / Not for Profit AUD $20 including GST – duration period of 1 month
• Charities / Not for Profit AUD $100 including GST – duration period of 6 months

• Inexpensive - Posting an activity is cheap and easy.
• No Pressure - Fresh Friends is not an online dating site and takes the pressure off our members – it’s about sharing interests and having fun. But, should you find romance – then it’s an additional benefit. Get to know people first without the pressure, be yourself and you never know who you will meet.
• Safe - As you normally meet in a group environment, we know that safety is in numbers. If you accept an ‘invitation only’ activity, we suggest you meet the person first and tell someone where you are going and be contactable via phone. As a true Australian, Monica Aleksander quickly saw the need for a socialable activity outlet for anyone wanting to get the ‘zing’ back in their social life, by bringing people together to enjoy any outing or event in this great country of ours.

Having had to endure going out alone due to family commitments and work pressures, Monica wanted to expand her circle of friends and enjoy everyday activities, but not everyone was available when the occasion presented itself. Knowing there had to be a solution; Fresh Friends was launched, as she knew that in our increasingly online world, Fresh Friends could bring people face to face with new friends.
